For now our travel has been postponed, but as we stay home and stay safe, we can still be inspired by our beautiful area and imagine the trip we will plan when it is safe to travel once again. There will be brighter days ahead. Days for our families to come together in beautiful places like ours. Places of majestic views, quiet cool mountain hiking trails, the flowing waters made for trout fishing and summer tubing trips. Days of fun gem mining for treasures and horseback riding mountain trails.
Through these virtual tours and 360 degree viewing experiences, we invite you to come along with us through the towns of Little Switzerland, Spruce Pine, Bakersville and beyond…to experience the majesty of Roan Mountain, the cool spray from Grassy Creek Falls and more of the beauty and solitude of Mitchell County.
In the Three Peaks region, we are in the center of it all, yet we have open spaces to find solitude and a get away from the crowds and hustle and bustle of the big city. In the center of Roan Mountain, Grandfather Mountain and Mt. Mitchell, you will find an abundance of trails, streams and rivers, waterfalls and unique artist studios, restaurants and historical stops.
Until we can meet again, let’s start with some beautiful views. Take a deep breath and picture yourself here with us.
Remember, viewing from a TV, laptop, or desktop and making them full screen will give you the best experience! To view the below 360 images, click the image and drag the photo to move it around.
