Dry County Brewing Company and Pizza Shoppe
Oak Avenue, Spruce Pine
“We use whole, fresh, and local (when possible) ingredients to create our salads, hand tossed pizzas, and hand crafted beers. We would love to share our sources and stories with you. ”

Fox and the Fig
Oak Avenue, Spruce Pine
“We love to bake, consume warm drinks with friends, meet new people, encourage our community, grow, and educate ourselves and others about sustainability and agriculture. We have opened up a little shop that will hopefully be a good blend of all of these things and so much more. We offer great organic teas and coffee, homemade treats of all kinds, including gluten free and vegan options, and we usually have a sandwich or slice of something “lunchy” through the week.”

Knife & Fork
Locust Avenue, Spruce Pine
“In the mountains just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, facing the North Toe River and a pair of railroad tracks, sits our small and simply appointed restaurant. The hills around us are home to a great many talented farmers, craftsmen and artists of all kinds. Creativity, hard work and community abound in this small town. We are grateful and lucky to be here.”
